I was low in confidence when I contacted the Interview Skills Clinic. I've never done a competency-based interview before so it seemed very daunting and exam-like. I even postponed the interview because I was a bag of nerves. But Elizabeth was so patient in our first session giving me practical advice and tips which I was able to use to improve before our second session when we did a mock interview. I got through the real interview thinking I might possibly make it on to the Civil Service reserve list but unlikely. To my huge surprise, I was offered a role. I cannot recommend Elizabeth highly enough - she calmed my nerves and I'm certain I wouldn't have been offered the job without her help.

I contacted Elizabeth after a couple days just thinking about it just before an interview and at the last minute, decided to book a coaching session to really focus my mind as I had been doing various interviews for a few months. The experience Elizabeth and Matthew (who coached me) was what made the decision for me after a chat with Elizabeth. It was money well spent as they fitted me in a day before my interview! Matthew helped me get focused, polish my weaker areas and deliver a great interview that I felt calm going into and came out feeling that I’d done my best. Thank you Matthew!

I had one session with Chista to prepare me for an orthodontic interview. Despite the interview being cancelled due to the pandemic she was absolutely fantastic throughout the process. Chista was extremely encouraging, friendly and always went above and beyond. She offered invaluable guidance on how to deliver answers with structure and confidence. I was impressed by how organised the session was and how it catered for the interview so well. I cannot recommend Chista enough and I was subsequently successful in attaining my first choice job.

I have never had to write a CV, other than my University personal statement. I was put in contact with Matthew, submitted my CV and I had it returned to me the next day. He made some very useful amendments, explaining the changes he had made. He also offered to discuss any aspect of it with me. It was extremely helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to contact him for advice in the future.

I found university interview to be different from the rest and wanted to make sure I was prepared. My coach was Elizabeth Conley, I had three sessions with her and she was very helpful and helped me to discover my true potentials and polished them. As a result, by the time of my interview I was comfortable and confident to express myself in the best attitude and I was successful to get an offer from the university! Thank you Elizabeth.

I had 2 sessions with Elizabeth before my interview. She helped me understand what interviewers are looking for and helped me turn the interview into a formula in my mind. I really appreciated her positive encouragement and honest feedback. The sessions also helped me become more comfortable talking about myself out loud (something I had previously struggled with). After working with Elizabeth my interview strategy clicked in my mind, I was able to perform on the day and I ended up getting the job! Thank you so much for your help and guidance :)
