Service terms

Below are the terms and conditions of all services supplied by Interview Skills Clinic Ltd, including candidate one-to-one coaching, online courses, webinars and corporate training courses. All coaching and training services are subject exclusively and strictly to these terms and conditions.

Description of coaching services

All details, descriptions and prices for the coaching services on interviewskillsclinic.co.uk are correct at the time when the information was entered. We reserve the right to withdraw any services and alter the price and specification of the coaching service on the website.

Any changes to services, prices or course content will not affect coaching sessions, courses or training already booked and confirmed, unless agreed with you.

Payment

Candidate coaching

The total cost of your order is the price as quoted and includes all taxes where applicable. Payment can be made either directly by bank transfer or through credit or debit card. Payments are processed through Stripe and subject to their validation checks. We are not responsible for any delays or losses if the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment.

A booking for a coaching service is not confirmed until full payment for the coaching session has been received. Preparation work for the session will not start until payment is made and we have received the relevant information from you, such as the job specification, CV, application, interview details or other background information.

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information before your coaching session. If information is sent late, this may limit the preparation possible before your session.

Corporate training

Client review

On go-ahead of training, an invoice is raised and full payment must be paid within 30 days of the invoice date. Alternatively, where agreed in writing, 50% can be paid upfront and the remaining 50% on completion of all training.

For larger or bespoke projects, any significant design or preparation work already completed may be charged if the training is later cancelled.

Limitation of liability

Candidate coaching

Interview Skills Clinic and our coaches cannot guarantee the outcome of your interview, application, promotion process or recruitment process. We are not liable for any costs, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity, loss of earnings or indirect losses whatsoever as a result of using our coaching services.

We are not responsible for any results, job offers or lack of job offers as a result of using our coaching services or following advice available on the website interviewskillsclinic.co.uk or through our coaches.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any rights you have under consumer law.

Corporate training

We work collaboratively with the organisation to adapt our off-the-shelf training courses or design a bespoke training course to meet their objectives. The course is approved by the client before it is delivered and engagement may be monitored by an online survey. We have public liability insurance up to £5 million.

The client is responsible for approving the agreed training content, scope and delivery format before training takes place.

Cancellations and refunds

Candidate coaching

Rescheduled and cancelled coaching sessions with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged at the full rate for face-to-face coaching appointments and at 50% for online appointments on Zoom, Teams or other platforms.

If you do not attend a booked coaching session and have not given notice, the session may be charged at the full rate.

Requests for a refund under our Satisfaction Guarantee policy must be notified to the coach you are working with within 30 minutes of a coaching session. If you believe that you have not benefited from the coaching, your money will be refunded in full.

Refunds will not normally be given where coaching has been delivered, preparation work has been completed, or the issue relates to the outcome of an interview, application or recruitment process.

Live Webinar Bookings

Places on live webinars are booked for a specific date and time.

You may request to move your booking to another available webinar date by giving at least 72 hours’ notice. Requests received with less than 72 hours’ notice cannot be transferred or rescheduled, and the booking fee is non-refundable.

If Interview Skills Clinic needs to cancel a webinar, or if the minimum number of participants required to run the session is not reached, you will be offered a place on the next available webinar or a full refund.

Consumer cancellation rights

Where consumer cancellation rights apply, you may have the right to cancel your booking within 14 days of purchase.

However, if you book a coaching session to take place within this 14-day period, you agree that we may begin providing the service before the cancellation period has ended. Once the coaching session has been delivered, you will not be entitled to cancel and receive a refund for that completed service.

If you cancel before the session has taken place, any refund will take account of preparation work already completed and the cancellation terms above.

Corporate training

Training days can be rescheduled within 7 days of the agreed day at no cost. Training days rescheduled with less than 7 days’ notice are charged for at full cost unless we have waived this in writing beforehand, for example, due to train strikes.

If significant design or preparation work has already been completed, this may be charged even if the training is later cancelled.
